WHEN it comes to our jobs, many of us would like to trade the routine for a little more fun.
Well, tonight, as Love Island begins, it may have brought a new opportunity to make some money without leaving your bed.
Luxury linens retailer Secret Linen Store has posted resumes for its latest job opening, a relaxation researcher.
As our lives get busier and our downtime more precious, the brand is looking for someone to test popular relaxation methods to see which ones work best for a good night’s sleep.

The job involves certain tasks that many people do before bed, including watching Love Island, following a skin care routine, and listening to true crime podcasts.
A full evaluation of each night’s routine is then submitted, showing how relaxed the “relaxation researcher” feels afterwards and how well they slept that night.
The role has to be completed over the course of a month and the successful applicant will be paid £300 just for lounging around – as well as nightwear and a bed set from Secret Linen Store.
Molly Freshwater, co-founder of Secret Linen Store, said, “We’d love to give someone the opportunity to take time out in the evenings to relax and take on the important task of finding the ultimate comforting pre-bed routine.”
Applications are open now and will close on July 3, 2022. All you have to do is fill out the application and tell Secret Linen Store why you deserve to get paid for lounging.
The full list of responsibilities and how to apply for the position is available on their website.
