Worker says she went back to her old job after hating the new one

A TikToker went viral after posting about a new job that she “hated” so much that she immediately quit and went back to her old position.
Cristina Georgia (@chrisssyxg) said colleagues at her original place of work even pooled some money to give her as a parting gift, which she returned when she returned.
@chrisssyxg Don’t worry I gave everyone their money back. 🤣🤣🤣 #itrynottokmyself #quityourjob #embarrassing #onlyme #jobless #momsoftiktok ♬ WHY YOU ALL USE THIS SOUND OML – CYRUS
Georgia writes in a text overlay for TikTok, “Thinking about the time I quit my job 2 weeks and they gave me a card and raised $$$. I hated the new job and came back 2 days later.”
Other users who viewed Georgia’s post commented that they had similar employment experiences. User @vanessaalejandro3 wrote: “I did that, they threw a party for me and I came back 7 weeks later. Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.”
Another said: “I came back 3 years later so I don’t feel that bad but I still feel bad about the farewell party they threw at me,” while user @lemoneelime wrote: “Monday and Tuesday in the new work …. Wednesday called I’m sick but called my previous job…quit new job on Wednesday and resumed old job on Thursday.”
