Women at the Grand National struggled with foul winds – dresses were completely blown off.
Glamorous women had to hold on to their hats as they battled winds of 22mph as they walked through Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse today.
Many also had to protect their alcohol to prevent the wind from carrying away any stray drops of Prosecco.

At Blackpool Pleasure Beach, customers had to be escorted down the Big One roller coaster after the ride was halted due to inclement weather.
Although today’s wind speeds are much more average, racegoers still have to contend with rain and scattered clouds.
