Woman tells a story about Hinge Date From Hell

One woman shared the story of a hinge date involving ingestion of human flesh, a fake name, and a staged apartment. Her story went viral, but some viewers think it could be an urban legend.

A TikTok received over 1million views after declaring what would be considered a date from hell.

TikToker Magda Cychowski (@magdacychowski) says “a friend of a friend” had a hinge date with a man who initially showed green flags.

She says the man and woman had a great first date, and then he offered to cook for the woman on their second date. On their date, he reportedly mentioned that he’s vegan and warned her that the food might taste different than what she’s used to.

The woman, Cychowski claims, woke up critically ill the next day and went to the emergency room. After some testing, it was discovered that she had ingested human flesh, the TikToker continues.

After this discovery, Cychowski says, the woman called the police and was told the guy rented an Airbnb under a false name and disappeared from the apartment and all social media platforms.

“Every woman who dates men needs to hear this damn story,” says Cychowski. “Don’t let him cook for you.”

Users were skeptical that Cychowski’s story is real.

One user commented: “This story is highly suspicious. ‘Friend of a friend’, come on!’

Cychowski responded in a video, explaining that her co-worker told her this story about someone they used to work with, but mentioned it might have been a lie.

“Either I get scammed, my co-worker may have heard this from someone who saw a reddit thread and we’re all bloody stupid but what’s scary what if that happened to really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really?” says.

Another user commented: “Urban legend. I heard [about] this since 2009.”

There is rightly room for skepticism as a story with a very similar plot was posted on Reddit three years ago.

Others, who took it at face value, were shocked.

“Yeah, I’m done with the date,” one announced.

“Yeah, I’m definitely not letting you cook for me on the second date,” said another.

The Daily Dot reached out to Cychowski via TikTok comment.
