Woman shows “young” Jack Harlow at a concert on Viral TikTok

Jack Harlow has just released his second album, Come home, the kids miss you, which is why he’s been in the news lately. But a viral TikTok shows just how much he’s changed since 2016.

In March, Lila Payton posted a TikTok with the caption, “standing next to young Jack Harlow at a concert in 2016.” In the clip, which has more than 2 million views, Payton says “Jack!” and the camera pans to a curly-haired man with glasses who is smiling broadly.

In the comments, Payton clarified that Harlow hails from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and that “we all knew who he was, but we didn’t know he was going to show up.” Harlow is only 24, so it’s funny to name him as to refer to “young Jack Harlow”. He released a mixtape called 18 in 2016 and had already released a couple of mixtapes.

Many people in the comments referenced his verse on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby,” specifically the line, “I didn’t peak in high school, I’m still out here getting cuter.”

“Jack’s glow up gave me confidence today,” said one commenter. There’s also an anti-Harlow contingent on TikTok, angered by the “thirst” he inspires in women.

We reached out to Payton via Instagram direct message for comment.
