Woman says delivery drivers won’t buy her hygiene products

A woman on TikTok says her grocer was too “embarrassed” to buy the menstrual hygiene products she ordered.

The woman named Jenn (@jennyddp) posted a now-viral TikTok video featuring the sound of a woman screaming to illustrate how frustrated she was with the delivery driver. On Saturday, the video reached 1.2 million views.

“That’s what it sounded like in my head when the guy who brought my groceries straight upstairs refused to add the feminine hygiene products I ordered because he’s a childish man who doesn’t care that I literally NEED them,” wrote Jenn in the video on-screen text. “He was too ’embarrassed’ to pick her up at the store.”

The video received a ton of comments, mostly from women, who referenced TikToker’s frustration with their “immature” delivery driver.

“How can you not get fired immediately for refusing to do your job right away,” commented one viewer.

Another wrote in all caps: “I HATE WHEN I PUT MEN ON INSTACART THEY DON’T EVEN TRY.”

Someone else commented, “It’s like they think we’re judging them like they’re buying it for themselves. Like of course we know it’s not for you dude.”

Other viewers shared their own horror stories of dealing with men who acted immature, childish, or even disgusted with menstrual hygiene products.

“I dropped an unopened, fully wrapped, clean stamp out of my purse and my ex literally screamed and backed away. ex now obviously,” said one user.

“My father has 5 daughters. refuses to even *look* at a box of pads,” wrote a second user.

A third commented, “A doctor once told a nurse to tell me he didn’t want to talk about my period because he doesn’t like ‘girl things’.”

“Once my brother had a meltdown because I had my tampons on the bathroom counter…still in the box…in a CVS bag,” said a fourth.
