Woman injured in Broward cafe shooting

COOPER CITY, Fla – Detectives are searching for the shooter who injured a woman at a coffee shop in Broward County on Sunday.

Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office responded at around 9:00 a.m. at the Clutch Coffee at 9630 Stirling Rd. in Cooper City.

BSO deputies from the robbery unit investigated the shooting. Neighborhood residents reported receiving a voicemail describing the case as an armed robbery.

The victim was hospitalized, MPs said. Detectives asked anyone with information about the case to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
