Woman Date took her into his home without her consent

A woman says a man tried to pick her up without consent while they were kissing at his home and then blocked the door, preventing her from leaving.

TikTok user Natalie (@nat_faith) posted a video telling the man she wants him to move away from the door so she can leave. She says she is recording their interaction for her own safety.

“You’re going to step aside and I’m going to go,” Natalie tells the man repeatedly. He tells her he’d like to talk to her and tells her to “relax.” She tells him she’s uncomfortable.

The TikToker wrote in the overlay of the video that she called the police to get the man to open the door and let her out.

“I was scared and felt that way [violated].” As of Tuesday, Natalie’s video had over 219,000 views.

The TikToker posted another video of her talking to the man and telling him she wants to leave. In the follow-up video, the man cracks his knuckles and doesn’t seem to move.

Natalie posted a third TikTok about the situation, confirming she’s “fine.” She says that when she realized the man was recording her, she told him she didn’t agree and asked him to delete the videos he was recording.

“I was trying to keep walking and that’s when he grabbed me,” Natalie says in the video. She says that as soon as the man started standing outside the door, she started recording.

Natalie says he called her repeatedly on the way home from the man’s house and sent her money, which she allegedly sent back. She says she plans to press charges against him.

Commenters on Natalie’s first video suggested she is pursuing false imprisonment charges against the man, using her TikToks as evidence against him. State and federal laws prohibit false detention, which is defined as someone who “knowingly” “unlawfully detains another for material interference.” [their] Freedom.”

In a comment on her video, Natalie advised followers to prepare for meeting new people by bringing knives and pepper spray.

Other commenters asked Natalie to share more information about the man so “other girls know to stay away from him.”

“Seriously put him on all social media,” commented @wackopomelo. “He’ll do it again. He’s done it before.”

The Daily Dot reached out to Natalie via TikTok comment.
