In a viral TikTok video, a woman confronts her neighbor who she claims “harassed” her over her doorbell camera.
“Young women are the most attacked and experience it all the time,” the woman (user @aubriabeaux_) commented on the video. “You will not bother anyone and expect them not to stand up for themselves, especially not me.”
The TikToker asks why her neighbor has a problem with the doorbell camera in her apartment. He replies, “That’s disrespectful to us.”
She goes on to say that her camera can be in the hallway since it’s a public space. The neighbor says he understands, but the two keep yelling at each other.
“If you keep fucking me, it will be a problem,” says the creator.
The video, shared on May 24, received over 750,000 views.

“This man is a creep!! The camera is for security!” she added via text overlay to the video.
The TikToker previously posted two videos of the neighbor interacting with her doorbell camera, including turning it off and waving her hand in front of it as he walks by.
Honestly, I’m concerned for my safety and of course Delaware doesn’t have a law I could file a complaint to for harassment.

In the comments of the confrontation video, several viewers sided with the TikToker.
“Anyone with a problem with a camera has something to hide,” wrote one user.
“What the hell is he up to that he’s so worried about being seen??? I’m so sorry this is bullshit, I’m glad you always put camera safety first and I’m glad you’re sticking to it,” added another.
Others noted that doorbell cameras are a commonly used security technology that makes many people feel more secure in their homes.
“I thought doorbell cameras were now normalized. Most people on my floor, including myself, have them,” one viewer wrote.
Another TikTok user acknowledged that having a camera is her right: “How is it disrespectful? There’s a camera on your door, the door to the apartment you’re paying for, why are they so fucking bothered?
