Woman catches men pretending their Tesla is theirs

A TikToker shared a video of herself in her Tesla – while several men gathered in front of the car, pretending to own it and the creator wondering what to do to spoil their party.
The video is courtesy of creator Brooke @brookelaynes and garnered more than 713,000 views in its first 16 hours on the platform.
In the video, she sits in the Tesla and records her hashtags as #menbeingboys, which are visible in the background at certain points throughout the 33-second clip.
“Guys,” she begins, “there are some guys behind me pretending this is their car.”
She explains: “My windows are completely tinted; like you can’t see inside at all. They always pretend it’s their car when someone walks by and they don’t know I’m in it.”
@brookelaynes where is @drewafualo when you need her?!?!!should I just honk??? #needsomeadvise #menbeingboys #drewafualo ♬ Vigilante Shit – Taylor Swift
“This is so embarrassing,” she notes, stifling a laugh as she says it. “Like they’re leaning on the car and pretending it’s their own. I do not know what to do.”
As expected, the commenters had some suggestions on what to do.
“Intrusive thoughts would say honk a few times,” one suggested.
More than one claimed Teslas could make fart sounds and thought that would work well in this situation, including one commenter who suggested “Use the outer fart sound.”
That prompted another person to chime in: “This is absolutely why I can’t own a Tesla. I would 100% use it daily. I’m almost 40! When will farts stop being funny?”
One commenter thought “TURN BACK AND PLAY A CARDI B-SONG” was the right move, while another suggested, “You should have opened the sunroof and then come up and stared at them.”
Continuing the sunroof theme, another person asked, “Do you have a sunroof that you can dramatically pop out of while listening to music?”
Quite a few people thought she should have left. One even wrote her a line to say as she left: “Hey, once you guys are done looking important I really need to go now.”
At least one person expressed disappointment that the creator didn’t use the car’s exterior cameras to create content that shows a closer look at them.
And another person wanted to know more about the story and asked: “Part 2 ??”
“I need to know what happens next,” they added.
Brooke has yet to share how she handled the situation in a follow-up.
