Woburn Teachers Association agrees to strike from Monday if no deal is reached – Boston News, weather, sport

WOBURN, MASS. (WHDH) – The Woburn Teachers Association has authorized a strike from Monday if agreement is not reached on a new contract.

The educators say they want better pay and smaller class sizes, among other things.

The mayor says the city has been negotiating with the club for more than a year.

The city hopes to meet with the teachers’ union on Sunday morning.
