Rihanna stunned fans when she made a surprise appearance in the crowd at the Wireless Festival today to support her boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The Diamonds singer has been keeping a low profile lately after giving birth to her first child with the rapper last month.
She has yet to share her son’s name or picture on social media and has rarely been seen in public since.
However, the 34-year-old made sure to be in the audience on day one of the party, while her boyfriend wowed festival-goers at Crystal Palace.
As always, she looked effortlessly stylish in an oversized bomber jacket and black trousers in pictures circulating on social media.
She accessorised in chunky jewelry as she casually walked past screaming fans who were happy to catch a glimpse.
Of course, the low-key pop-up didn’t go entirely unnoticed, and Rihanna was soon all the rage on social media.
“RIHANNA IS ON WIRELESS AND I’M NOT THERE, ARE YOU CRAZYYY,” fumed one.
“Rihanna won’t even be performing on Wireless, but she already stole the whole show! YOUR POWER >>>,” joked another.
“Love the fact that Rihanna came along to support ASAP Rocky at the #WirelessFestival! I just knew I would see her in the crowd,” wrote journalist Nola Ojomu.
One Twitter user celebrated: ‘Soooo Rihanna was on Wireless??!!!! The best day ever.’
As one follower predicted, “Only Rihanna could trend on Twitter about every act coming to Wireless today just because she showed up to support her husband.
“If she returns to music, it’s over for everyone.”
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we won’t have to wait long for this to come true…
Chris Brown and Lil Uzi Vert were among the names who also took the stage on Friday, while J Cole, Playboi Carti, Tyler, The Creator, Little Simz and Ari Lennox would perform throughout the weekend.
Rihanna and A$AP – real name Rakim Mayers – started a family together in May but have remained strictly confidential about the newborn.
The new dad recently gave an insight into the things he hopes to pass on to his children, explaining that he hopes to start an “open-minded” family.
“I will always remind my kids to never lose their imaginations, even as adults, no matter what,” he told Dazed and Confused.
I actually love watching cartoons – I’ve seen Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark.
“I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically I just want a cool kid with cool parents.
“Things like diversity and versatility are important and will be embedded in the household.”
