Winter weather warning in effect as storm brings snow to parts of Mass. – Boston News, Weather, Sports

A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of southeastern Massachusetts as a storm system sweeps through the region, bringing snow and gusty winds.

There could be 2 to 4 inches of snow in southern Plymouth County to Upper Cape over the next two days. Areas from the North Shore to the South Shore could receive a 2 inch coating. The further west you go, the fewer thunderstorms you’ll see through Monday noon.

The snow resulted in slippery driving conditions across the state on Sunday.
