Wife calls LaserShip about botched bathroom and body build job

A user on TikTok sparked a discussion after claiming he no longer orders from Bath & Body Works, largely due to the LaserShip delivery service he uses.
In a video with over 10,000 views, TikTok user Courtney (@cmosingsperfume) documents numerous negative experiences she had while ordering from the company, including some packages being lost and others arriving damaged.
At the beginning of the video, Courtney shows a badly damaged box and opens it to reveal another equally badly damaged box.
“Whoever packed this order didn’t give it a 5,” she writes in the caption overlaying the video. She later says, “I’m just so confused. Who would pack a box like that?”
Courtney then lists other negative Bath & Body Works shipping experiences before showing viewers the hand soaps she just ordered from the company that arrived leaking. She explains how she had her first negative experience with LaserShip in October after they never delivered her order. In December, LaserShip allegedly lost her package again, except this time she had to wait four days for Bath & Body Works to send her a replacement package. The replacement package was sent via UPS, she says, but it still arrived leaking after the hand soaps’ seals were broken.
@cmosingsperfume I will never order online from Bath & Body Works again 🤦🏼♀️ #bathandbodyworkshauls #deliveryissues #lasershiphorror #lasershipfail #bathandbodyworksfail #badcustomerservice #customerservice #lasershipsucks #deliverynightmare #damagedbox #lasershiptheft #bbwhandsoap ♬ Aesthetic – Tollan Kim
On TrustPilot, LaserShip has an average rating of 1.2 out of 5 stars from over 470 reviews.
In the comments, many users shared their own negative experiences of ordering items shipped with LaserShip.
“Lasership threw my package to the side of the house. It was perfume from VS,” wrote one user. “I’m glad it didn’t break, but I was mad as hell.”
“Lasership tried to deliver my package in another state,” claimed another.
“Laser ship is the worst! I realized I hadn’t received my candles and checked and last week the Lasership said it was damaged and undeliverable,” a third recalled.
“I ordered the candles online and Lasership said they were delivered BUT NOTHING WAS AT MY DOOR,” said another user. “I wasn’t happy.”
Some issues appear to revolve around Bath & Body Works’ packaging style, which many users have found inadequate.
“I ordered candles last year and spent over $100 and 3!! Candles came completely broken, no bubble wrap or paper fillers in the box at all,” shared one commenter.
For her part, Courtney says Bath & Body Works should both avoid the shipping company altogether and improve their packaging procedures.
“They are worse than FedEx! I wish I had the option to choose which carrier I would choose, I would choose USPS or UPS,” she wrote in a comment. In another comment, she added, “I feel like B&BW could save themselves from customer service calls and backorders if they knew how to pack a box properly.”
