Who is on strike today and how does it affect you? Daily update for January 29th

It’s a sleepy Sunday in terms of strikes – only one industry is staging a strike today.
Workers at drinks giant Diageo are also walking out of business for money after the company cut wages for newcomers without consulting unions.
Unite estimates that some of its members could lose 6% of their salary.
Diageo has previously said only 10 people are involved in the action.
However, next week will see the return of strikes in various workplaces.
Teachers, railway workers, university staff, civil servants and London Underground union members will all be crushed tools.
Workers at the British Museum also announced plans to strike yesterday.
More than 100 workers will be laid off during the February half term.
Museum visitor services and security teams will be on the picket line for seven days starting February 13.
Members of the famous museum’s Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) are taking industrial action over a long-standing dispute over jobs, wages and pensions.
