Where to activate the distress signal at Tilted Towers or Coney Crossroads in Fortnite

Welcome fellow Fortnite players, we’ve finally arrived at the final week of the Resistance quest line. Week 11 will be full of interesting quests, so let’s get down to business. Here is where to activate a distress signal at Tilted Towers or Coney Crossroads in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

How to establish a device uplink

If you’ve completed every quest up to this point, you’re probably incredibly familiar with the opening objective. This time we need to “set up device uplink near Rocky Reels or The Daily Bugle”.

There are three places each where you can do this, but we went with the bottom left on Rocky Reels.

You’ll find this hologram audio log on that cliff overlooking the Rocky Reels sign and main entrance.

Where to activate a distress signal at Tilted Towers or Coney Crossroads in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

After touching the hologram audio log you will get the new/main objective “Activate a distress beacon at Tilted Towers or Coney Crossroads”. There are two spots at each location. You only need to activate a single beacon so you can choose your own point to tick this off.

Tilted Towers West Distress Beacon

You’ll look for it behind some sandbags on a street corner. If you try to land directly on the bonfire, both bonfires have blue flags attached to help guide you there.

Tilted Towers East distress signal

This one is at the opposite end of the other beacon, also marked by a flag. Look for the junction box and the metal barricade walls.

Coney Crossroads North Emergency Beacon

This is easy to find as you walk up the bridge to the north street entrance at Coney Crossroads, it is on the left.

Coney Crossroads South distress signal

Similar to the other, this distress signal is on the right hand side as you drive up South Road to Coney Crossroads.
