When is the graduation ceremony and how to watch it on TV?

The graduation ceremony will also take place on 8th August and should begin at 8 p.m.

It’s taking place at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium – the same location as the wild opening ceremony, which features a giant bull, a 72-car Union Jack and a lemon-shaped hot air balloon.

The closing ceremony will be broadcast live on BBC One and is also available to stream on iPlayer from 8pm to 10pm.

When and where will the next Commonwealth Games take place?

The next Commonwealth Games will take place in State of Victoria, Australia out March 17 to March 29, 2026.

Where previous Commonwealth Games have been held in one city, Victoria 2026 will be held from the start with a number of regional cities hosting events including Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat and Gippsland.

As is tradition at the Games, the baton will be handed over to the organizers of Victoria 2026 at the closing ceremony in Birmingham on Monday.

The Opening Ceremony for the 2026 Games is set to take place at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
