Westside Boogie releases Live At The Novo EP

Westside Boogie was introduced last year More black superheroes, a new record featuring guests Soulja Boy, Snoop Dogg and more. The rapper brought some of those songs to a special NPR Tiny Desk performance. On Tuesday, March 4th, he returned with new music with a surprise three-track EP Live in the Novo.
The EP comes just days before Westside actually takes the stage at The Novo in Los Angeles, which is set for March 16th. On Instagram he described Live in the Novo as “[something] holding on to you because you are all my family,” he wrote. “2 more days until the final emergence.”
The songs on the EP are “Cold As Love”, “Tell Me” and “Mood”.
Hopefully the show won’t be too loud. In July 2022, he shared why Eminem told him never to go on stage when performing. “In terms of performance, he told me to stop stage diving because I could get sued,” he said. “It’s just a physical thing. He doesn’t like how I jump into the crowd because he said I could be sued and how he got into the fight for it. But I just like to jump into the crowd – that’s my thing, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know if that’s necessarily good advice, but that’s the advice he gave me.”
