Westford police warn of aggressive coyote – Boston News, Weather, Sports

WESTFORD, MASS. (WHDH) – Officials in Westford are warning the public following reports of people confronted with and bitten by an aggressive coyote.

The incidents occurred in the area of ​​North Main Street, West Street and Groton Road towards the Groton city limits. A report suggested the coyote was attempting to gain access to caged animals in the area.

Residents are urged to be careful and not to approach the coyote if they see it.

Westford Animal Control and the Massachusetts Environmental Police are investigating.
