Westborough FD: Traffic reduced after truck got stuck under railroad bridge over Route 30 – Boston News, Weather, Sports
WEST BOROUGH, MASS. (WHDH) – A main road in central Westborough has narrowed to one lane after a tractor-trailer collided with a railway overpass, according to officials.
The Westborough Fire Department tweeted a photo of the wreckage around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, showing a truck stuck under a CSX rail bridge on Route 30 on Willow Street.
The trailer itself appeared to have been broken open by the impact, nestled beneath a sign that read “12′-6″ DANGER LOW BRIDGE.”
Officials said the carriageway would be reduced to one lane while crews worked to remove the vehicle. No details have been released as to whether the railway bridge was damaged.
