Keema Naan is the perfect choice when you are looking for a recipe that is appealing but not fussy. The naan is so flavorful that you don’t even need a curry to accompany it. Just make delicious sauce/dipping of your choice and enjoy. You can bake the delicious keema naan or make it in a tawa, the process is a bit different but both results are totally worth it. Want to try a must-have this weekend? Here is the recipe for you.

How to make Keema Naan l Keema Naan Recipe:

For the dough, prepare a soft and airy mixture similar to making a pizza base. You can use yeast or curd to make the dough softer. Knead the dough and let it rest for at least a few hours. Until then, prepare the keema stuffing.

For keema, it is better to cook the meat thoroughly before adding it to the naan. Undercooked meat can leave excess water behind after being placed on the heat and make the naan mushy and not as crispy as we would like. Heat a little oil in a pan and then add the ginger-garlic powder, minced meat, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt and some coriander leaves. Cook this until the keema is soft and flavorful.

Knead the filling inside the dough and roll gently. To bake, bake 50% ingredients on a skillet and bake in a preheated oven. To make the tawa, gently flip the naan on both sides until cooked through. Apply the egg and milk mixture on top of the naan for a shiny finish. Serve hot with a side for you to choose from.
