Weather: Met Office issues another yellow alert for much of the UK
Brits have woken up to more weather warnings on the first day of the New Year.
The Met Office has issued seven amber warnings for ice and snow across the UK, scheduled to last from 6pm today until 11am tomorrow.
The warnings apply to large parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Yorkshire and the Humber.
