To that, we add other ingredients to make this winter recipe even tastier.

Here we bring you a sukhdi recipe that includes gondh (edible gum) in it – gondh gud papdi. Here atta is roasted in buffalo buttermilk and then gondh and gud are added and cut into a barfi shape. For those without inversions, the inclusion of gondh makes the dish even healthier for the winter. According to health and nutrition experts, gondh helps to keep the body warm and promote health immunity to deal with winter-related diseases.   • Grind the gondh in the mill. Hold aside.
  • Heat ghee in kadhai and add atta to it.
  • Roast thoroughly until the beans turn golden brown.
  • Add gondh to it and mix.
  • Add some dried ginger powder and mix.
  • Turn off heat and continue stirring with jaggery for at least 5 minutes.
  • Grease a plate or barfi tin and transfer the mixture.
  • Let it set and cut the scarabs out of it.

That’s it! Gondh gud papdi is ready in no time. You can store and enjoy these delicious sukhdis for days.
