[WATCH] Ghosted trailer starring Ana De Armas and Chris Evans

Ana de Armas and Chris Evans sure can’t stop working together. It all started with knife out, in which he played a suspect of a sweater obsession and she played the poor woman wrongly accused of murder. Last year they both appeared on the Russo brothers’ show alongside Ryan Gosling. The gray man. In none of them did they play romantic partners. That changes now with their third trip together, spookywhose first trailer has just been released.

The Apple TV+ movie has a not-terrible rom-com/action plot. Evans plays Cole, an incredibly handsome guy who has a killer first date with de Armas’ equally gorgeous Sadie. Unfortunately, Sadie seems to haunt him over text messages, prompting his friends to give him terrible advice: he should fly to London where she works and surprise her, though again she’s ignored what appears to be dozens of texts.

And so Cole gets what he deserves: Sadie turns out to be a secret agent, and she must rescue him from one trap after another set by monstrous underworld villains who both want dead. The lesson is clear: if someone is ghosting you, grab the L or you might find yourself in high-speed car chases while trying to save the world.

In real life, the trailer won’t be released long after Evans, who was newly crowned Sexiest Man Alive, revealed he has a new girlfriend of his own, something much of social media inevitably took notice of.
