Warwick Farm Races Wednesday tips and full preview

RACE 4 – 3:30 PM: FURPHY HANDICAP (2400m)

3. Goldman is a very interesting runner who was first for three months outclassing his competitors in a BM64 in the 2000m. Can only get fitter and while he is in class he is lighter in weight and looking promising. Can measure.
Dangers: 1. Kirkeby appears to be a different horse this time as he has gained distance and is chasing a hat trick after wins at 1800m and 2110m. Similar weight here and not to be underestimated. 5. Ounce Legend left his competitors with no excuses three weeks ago to win this course. Shade was worse off in the weights against a pair behind him, but hard to ignore. 2. Spearhead was one of those and he had his chance to finish second after sitting closer to the pace. Had three Australian races now so should be almost fit.
How to play it: Goldman wins and trifecta 3/1,2,5/1,2,5.
Odd and Even: Opportunities.

RACE 5 – 4:05pm: PIERRO AT COOLMORE HANDICAP (1400m)

7. Pungo is a rising player and his first win at Canterbury had a lot to offer despite the narrow margin. Has hunted a lot and proved too good. Can only get fitter and the ride climb is a plus too. take spanking
Dangers: 6. Bitcoin Baby was the first to win at this distance and has since made four honest runs. Attempting the 1400m for the first time in a while but pulls well and is one of the chances. 3rd trip loves his home circuit and two weeks ago he stormed through the laps from last place on this circuit. Increase the 2 kg, but it is impossible to get a win. 8. Alberic has been a big market watcher since the one spring run where he had a $3.90 chance at Rosehill and was disappointed. A public study on the synthetic. Showed enough promise to protect him in his first prep.
How to play it: Pungo wins and Trifecta 7/3,6,8/3,6,8.
Odd and Even: Splits.

RACE 6 – 4:40 PM: FUJITSU GENERAL HANDICAP (1400m)

4. Demiana was a beaten favorite for first place but her performance was still solid as she chased from far behind to be beaten by half a length. A firmer distance might help given her debut win. She will have her chance to atone.
Dangers: 7. Street gossip comes through the same race and benefits from a different set-up with the extra drive and straight run to the single corner. If she can keep in touch early, she will be strong late. 10. So what she did two weeks ago with the winner as runner-up over this course. The winner is smart and if she can put in the effort, she’ll be back. 3. Running Bear is a consistent mare and was lost at the Country Championships in Tamworth. She will be around the mark again.
How to play it: Demiana wins and Trifecta 4/3,7,10/3,7,10.
Odd and Even: Splits.

RACE 7 – 5:15 PM: VINERY YEARLINGS HANDICAP (1100m)

10. Rita May fought back superbly in two runs from a 1000m ban and is ready for something further here. She kept coming back second after a big run in Kensington and she has a good chance at both ends. Hazards: 12. Wild Botanica has not raced since taking over the listed company in October and before that had a nice second place at Rosehill. Fitter for two attempts, well drawn and still without a fresh win, she can contest a cheeky race. 1. Tucson Valley will try to lead and give a sight as usual. Had the same weight when Miss Kojiki finished second at Canterbury. Be fit and competitive. 7. Lascars finished just ahead of Rita May as he finished an equal third at Kensington. Had his chance in the last two runs and will get another one from the inside goal so I can’t let him go.
How to play it: Rita May wins.
Odd and Even: Even.

RACE 8 – 5:50 PM: CHINA HORSE CLUB HANDICAP (1200m)

Loading

2nd goal has been doing well on some pretty practical fields lately and was a bit unlucky to go a length last time at Canterbury. His second back on Spacewalk 3 is in good form for it and he’ll be racing his usual honest race for sure.
Dangers: 12. Invincible Vision did a great job of persevering and leading all the way off the scene after about 16 months. Fitter for it and fit three weeks between runs. Sure to be back on pace and hard to shut down. 9. billion baby did well at first and has been fine in a strong company ever since. He ran well behind Parisal on Rosehill last month without threatening. Nice draw for them to take cover and come in with a late burst. 6. The great light is much better suited to return to this trip after a struggling fourth in the 1400m a month ago. Can be a bit in-and-out but is able to show up here.
How to play it: aim in both directions.
Odd and Even: Even.

BEST BETS: Race 5 (7) PUNGO; Race 6 (4) DEMIANA
