Waffle House Cook shares the recipe for a viral waffle sandwich

A viral hack has recently arrived, but this time not for Chipotle, but for Waffle House. TikTok user @yungclevero claims he knows the original WH sandwich and shares the process in a TikTok.

“Everyone wants to talk about that damn waffle sandwich,” he says. “Waffle sandwich here, waffle sandwich there… I’m tired of hearing it [it]… I’ll show you how to do it.”

The Creator began by placing seven strips of bacon on the grill as his meat of choice.

“I think what I saw was sausage… I want to make bacon,” he says. After the bacon was cooked, he cut the strips into smaller pieces.

He explains that employees usually just put meat on the sandwich. However, he says he will add bacon to the waffle mix.

“Set your time to 3 minutes so you don’t burn these motherfuckers,” he says while tossing in the waffle batter.

Next, he scrambles eggs, believing that to make a sandwich you have to have eggs. Once everything is cooked, he starts assembling the sandwich.

“Put down your waffle, get your cheese balls, spread them out, get your bacon, put them on,” he says. “Boom, waffle sandwich.”

“This looks bomb,” says the woman who films the creator.

@yungclevero waffle house sandwich! Now I’m telling y’all this shit isn’t on the menu, even though y’all swear it is! #wafflehouse #wafflesandwhich ♬ original sound – yungclevero

Some users in the comments section claimed that this is not the viral hack while others shared their thoughts on substitutions.

“The cleanest, quietest waffle house I’ve ever seen,” said one user.

“Waffle House chefs are the backbone of this nation. Now I’m hungry,” commented another.

“Replace the eggs with hash browns and we really have something,” said a third user.

According to the Waffle House website, this particular waffle sandwich is not on the menu. All of the sandwiches listed use toast rather than waffles rather than a bun.

“Now I’m telling you all, this shit isn’t on the menu, even if you swear it is!” said the caption.

In a second video, @yungclevero made another sandwich requested in the comments section of his original video.

“So look man, y’all in my case talking about this not being the waffle house sandwich…talking about it ain’t how it’s supposed to be done,” he says. “Well, let’s go.”

In this version of the sandwich, the creator used cheesesteak and onions, hash browns and waffles.

Users in the comments section are happy while others have made suggestions.

“If it were me, I’d make chili and gravy, but I am,” said one user.

“You forgot the bacon this time sir but that’s enough,” commented another.

“The egg is missing though,” pointed out a third user.

The Daily Dot contacted Waffle House via email and @yungclevero via TikTok comment.
