Vladimir Putin’s “secret lover” rarely appears in public

Vladimir Putin’s ‘secret mistress’ makes a rare public appearance to open a new gymnastics training center in Russia.

Alina Kabaeva avoided any mention of the war in Ukraine or the Kremlin chief’s rumored failing health.

The 39-year-old Olympic gold medalist has been spotted fewer than half a dozen times this year.

It is believed that Kabaeva has a hidden family – including three sons – with Putin.

But the Russian public was never told of her alleged position as a secret first lady.

At the opening of a new complex in Sochi this weekend, Kabaeva avoided mention of Putin, 70, amid claims he slipped on the stairs of his Moscow residence and is suffering from cancer and other health problems.

Nor did she directly mention his war in Ukraine, in which more than 100,000 Russians are said to have been killed or injured.

Instead, she told gymnasts at the Divine Grace International Tournament during a speech that “the impossible is possible.”

“When I was a gymnast and an athlete, I could not even dream of such conditions [as you have in this new sports training centre],” She said.

“But as life shows, the impossible is possible.

“And Russia is a country with great opportunities.”

The Moscow state media are not allowed to talk about their 15-year relationship with Putin or their children.

The last time Russia’s secret first lady was seen in public was in September.

Russian showbiz magazine Starhit described her as “slim, with an elegantly sculpted face” – possibly a reference to the plastic surgery both she and Putin are said to be undergoing.

Kabaeva has no official role in Russia.

The 39-year-old looks after the new sports facility in the form of a gymnastics ring.

Kabaeva’s alleged lover, Putin, is known to despise questions about his private life.

He previously said he pities “those who invade other people’s lives with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies.

He has two other adult daughters – Maria, 36, and Katerina, 35, from his first marriage to former flight attendant Lyudmila Shkrebneva.

Another alleged connection is the teenage Luiza Rozova, whose multimillionaire mother Svetlana Krivonogikh was linked to Putin in the 1990s.
