Viral TikTok shows women scouting friends at strip club

In a series of viral TikToks, a strip club bouncer told two women who were tracking down their “missing” friends that they were at the strip club he works for. In the comments, people said the bouncer broke the “bro code.” Others said he was a “good man” for telling the women.

Bruce Bear (@fatbouncer) posted the first TikTok on Monday with the caption, “In all my years of bouncing I’ve never seen anything like it.” In the footage, two men named Dakota and Todd enter the club. Later that night, two women come looking for the men.

@fatbouncer In all my years of bouncing I’ve never seen anything like it… 😂😂🤣 In the next 2 videos it will be even BETTER! That’s 1 of 3! #nightlife #downtown #MakeNightsEpic #bouncer #spicygym #latenight #afterhoursclub #skrippertok #spicydancerlife #tagyourfriend #MakeASplash #yououghtaknow ♬ You Should Know (Jimmy the Saint Blend) / Your House (A Capella) [2015 Remaster] – Alanis Morissette

“If I show you a picture of them, could you do me a favor and tell me if anyone has entered the building?” asks one of the women, according to footage on the second TikTok, which has 4.8 million views as of Tuesday.

“At first I didn’t know if I should reveal any information,” replies the bouncer.

“You are currently missing,” she says. “We’ve been looking for you for the last three hours, so I just wanted to know if you even saw this guy enter the building.”

“But after thinking about it a bit, I thought these ladies have been through enough drama and deserve some answers,” says the bouncer.

“I swear I just saw him,” says a man who is with the bouncer.

“Don’t start me now,” says the woman, whose boyfriend appears to be Dakota.

The other man says Dakota is up at the club.

“Is he in trouble now?” the bouncer asks the two women.

“Oh, he’s in bloody big trouble,” she says.

The other woman says they went on a “wild goose chase to four different strip clubs looking for them. [They’re like] we’re here or we’re there, oh we’re over here.”

In the final clip, the woman says, “I’m shaking with anger right now.” The women then enter the club and screams can be heard in the background.

“I won’t lie,” reads the text overlay. “I kind of wish I was inside to see the righteous anger these ladies took out on Dakota and Todd.”

“You do EVERYTHING I say I hate. EVERYTHING!” You can hear the woman yelling at her boyfriend.

TikTok users were divided over who, if anyone, was right in this situation.

Some commenters said the bouncer wasn’t doing his job to let the women in: “As a bouncer, I’ve done my best to keep drama out of my bar… why are you letting it in… it messes up the vibes and the spending?”

Some said the bouncer “broke the bro code.”

One user wrote: “You don’t crack bro code. they are not in there.”

“You shouldn’t give out any information, patrons deserve their privacy,” commented another.

Others applauded the bouncer for betraying the men.

One user said: “Bro Code is designed to hold bros accountable. Be better, not even.”

“Good man, good man,” commented another.

“She was very polite and respectful when she asked. That’s great, not talking silly to the bouncer. The problem was her partner. Hi5 lady,” wrote another.
