Victims identified in fiery Miami crash that killed Lamborghini driver

MIAMI – One person is dead and another hospitalized after a car hit a post and burst into flames in Miami’s Little River neighborhood overnight Friday.

Local 10 News has obtained surveillance video showing sparks flying from a power pole as the high-end sports car crashes into it.

The male driver was identified as 23-year-old Mohammad Khan.

Miami Police said they responded to the area of ​​151 NE 82nd St. around 1:15 a.m. to investigate an accident. Shortly after arrival, firefighters pronounced Khan dead and took one passenger to the Ryder Trauma Center.

A witness described the vehicle as a Lamborghini.

“They must have been going somewhere between 100 and 110 mph,” she said.

The area has seen a number of fatal accidents in recent months, including a car that drove into a house Killed three people in late May.


“Unfortunately, this is normal here,” said a witness. “It’s just not a safe road.”

Investigators are checking if speed was a factor and the passenger’s condition is currently unknown.
