VCT Masters Reykjavík prize pool and leaderboard points distribution

Riot Games has announced a prize pool of over $600,000 for the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Reykjavík, where each of the 12 teams can take home some sort of reward for taking part in the event.

For the Masters Reykjavík winners, the prize distribution is the same as it was almost a year ago when the first Masters event was held in Iceland. Winners will receive $200,000 in prize money and 750 leaderboard points, which will count towards team qualification VALORANT Champions at the end of 2022. The tournament runner-up will receive $120,000 for their efforts and 500 leaderboard points. Both are significant increases from the previous Masters Reykjavík tournament, where second place took home just $100,000 and 350 points.

Third place gets $85,000 and 400 ladder points, while fourth place gets $65,000 and 300 ladder points. Leaderboard points have increased significantly for teams that finished in the top four over the past year, while third- and fourth-place teams will also receive an additional $5,000. The remaining teams will receive varying prize money and leaderboard points ranging from $40,000 to $10,000 and from 250 to 125 leaderboard points.
