Tyson Fury taunts Anthony Joshua after video of rivals confronting student heckling
Joshua was walking around the grounds of Loughborough University – where he has moved his training camp – when a group of students started swearing at him from an upstairs window.
The Sun reports that the group targeted the former heavyweight champion with “profanity and offensive language” before accusing him of evading a fight against Fury.
Footage then shows Joshua confronting the students in their dormitories.
“Remember to purse your mouth because if I bring people here and I start cracking your glass jaws, none of you will like it,” someone who appears to be Joshua is heard to say.
When your jaws break and people start kicking you out of college, none of you are going to like it.
“Watch your mouth because sometimes you don’t know who you’re talking to. All these public eye bulls**t, I’m not into this.’
Reacting to the incredible story, Fury wrote on his social media channels: “I have this effect on the best of them.”
A fight between Fury and Joshua to crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis was set to take place in 2021 after lengthy negotiations, only for the fight to fail.
Joshua lost his IBF, WBO and WBA titles to Uysk last September – hoping to regain those belts in a rematch against the undefeated Ukrainian in July.
Fury, meanwhile, insists he has now retired from boxing after KOing Dillian Whyte in April, although many believe ‘The Gypsy King’ could be tempted later this year against the winner of Joshua bs Usyk II to fight.
