Twitter DOWN – Mystery outage takes app offline as Elon Musk deal jeopardizes

TWITTER experienced an outage this morning, banning thousands of users.

Most outages are reported from large urban areas such as New York City, Houston, and Los Angeles.

84% of the reports come from users trying to log into the Twitter site – only 11% of the reported errors are attributed to the app.

Outages have been reported on the Down Detector service monitor, and it’s currently unclear what’s causing the problems.

This can be Twitter servers or the devices users use to access the website

Meanwhile, Elon Musk’s acquisition deal is on hold as he haggles with Twitter executives over the number of bots on the platform.
