Twelve-year-old girl goes missing from Sydney’s east

A 12-year-old girl has been missing for almost 24 hours after disappearing from Sydney’s east on Tuesday morning.

Pepper Stern was last seen on Girilang Avenue at Vaucluse about 11.15am and has since been uncontactable. Police have concerns for her welfare due to her age.

“We are just urging her to get in contact with someone,” a NSW Police spokesman said.

Police have asked the public to also keep an eye out for Pepper in Glebe, to which she goes regularly.

She is described as of Caucasian appearance, approximately 162 centimetres tall and has long brown curly hair.

She was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, an orange jumper and white joggers.

Anyone who sees Pepper or has any information about her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately and can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
