ST. LOUIS – It may be wise to book those holiday travel plans now.

Industry experts are warning travelers that the best time to book vacation travel is in the summerwho say that late August to early September is the best time to book for Thanksgiving.

Those planning to travel around Christmas are advised to book before Thanksgiving. Airline ticket prices are expected to increase dramatically after Halloween. The air fare is expected to increase by 23% in December.
