Transit Police: Man bites MBTA officers in altercation on Red Line platform – Boston News, Weather, Sports

BOSTON (WHDH) — An MBTA officer was bitten at the Field’s Corner Red Line station, according to Transit Police.

The incident happened around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, when passengers reported to an MBTA officer that Sean Kenneally, 32, of Quincy, was allegedly shouting profanities and spitting at passengers on an incoming train platform.

As the officer approached him, Kenneally allegedly punched the T officer in the face and bit his hand, breaking the skin.

Another MBTA employee and a Boston firefighter were able to hold Kenneally until officers arrived at the scene and arrested him.

The victim was later taken to a local hospital for the bite wounds.
