With current fuel prices, for most of us looking to buy a new car, saving fuel should be a top priority. So, as 2021 comes to a close, we decided to take a look at some of the most fuel-efficient petrol models to launch this year.
To say that fuel prices are high in India is an overstatement. Over the past 19 months, the price of gasoline has increased by 36 yen per liter, while diesel has increased by about 27 yen per liter. Although the Government made some small excise tax cuts last month, the cuts are only a mild relief for consumers. Currently, the price of gasoline is nearing 110 yen per liter in Mumbai and 95.41 yen per liter. At times like these, for most of us when contemplating buying a car, fuel economy should be a top priority. So as 2021 comes to a close, we decided to take a look at some of the most fuel-efficient models to launch this year.
