TikToker urges sick customers to come to Starbucks

In a TikTok posted on December 16, @misterjason, a Starbucks barista, glanced over at a customer ordering a “medicine ball”—a chain nickname. Honey mint tea. It is also known as “Cold Buster. ”

Based on Better houses and gardens, the drink consists of two types of tea, hot water, lemonade and honey.

TikTok, with more than 5 million views, is already set to cough up. “There’s no reason [y’all] don’t even hide it,” wrote @misterjason in the video’s caption, alluding to customers entering Starbucks when sick.

In the comments section of the video, @misterjason says that the customer he does TikTok about is “coughing on merchandise” in the store.

“Mmmm COVID holiday mug!” he added.

Other baristas also commented on the video.

“Why this woman [ask] I will make her with a supplement today,” commented @hobiskasa. “Ma’am, I’m a bartender, not a pharmacist.”

“They always think [it’s] some kind of [medicine] in it,” wrote @byakuganpr1ncess. “Honey, it’s lemonade lmfao.”

@Snacswell commented: “When they say pill ball, not mint mint honey,” that’s the name of the drink on the Starbucks menu, @snacswell commented. “Honey, I need you to pull that mask up for me.”

Daily Dot contacted @misterjason and Starbucks.
