TikToker shows production problems with new Tesla

A brand new Tesla with manufacturing problems has sparked debate on TikTok. When the original video hit 5 million views, users had to consider their thoughts on Elon Musk’s signature car.

Miles Smith (@patekmiles) sarcastically in his post: “Things about my $100,000 Model S 2022 make sense.

How will the Tesla fanboys defend this one? 😂 #fyp #tesla #models #2022 #longrange #plaid #problems #delivery #issues #broken #car #yoke

When he toured the car, he found plastic residue, locked wheels, dirty interior, improper driver’s window, uneven weather, paint scratches, gaps in the dashboard, no carpet floor coverings, etc. Viewers responded with surprise that the vehicle’s quality did not match the price.

“Seriously, before TikTok, I thought Tesla was a quality product,” @jake949 commented.

@cholo_juan writes, “I’ve been building Toyotas for years. This won’t leave the assembly line until ALL are fixed. “

“Fan boy: yOuR pAyInG fOr TheE tEcHnOlOgY nOt Thee qUaLiTy,” added @johndoe606.

@uckyoumofos states, “Teslas are just iPads with wheels.”

Other users speculated that Smith’s car was actually a used car, but he responded with what appeared to be a receipt for a new car delivered in December 2021.

This is not the first time Tesla has been criticized for the quality of its vehicles. Elon Musk told car industry expert Sandy Munro last February that scaled up production has caused quality control problems.

The Daily Dot has reached out to Tesla and Smith for comment.
