TikToker says her new job owner sent her a creepy text

A TikToker recently claimed that she received a creepy message from the owner of a job she accepted.

The video posted by @fayymarie11 shows the little girl shaking her head in disgust at her owner’s actions. The text on her video reads: “A good job received. I agree. The owner texted me at 1am this morning, “Hey buddy, what’s up?”

TikTok has more than 224,000 views and hundreds of comments.

Some viewers asked @fayymarie11 not to message the owner back; others encourage her to use writing to her advantage — like for better pay or a better schedule.

The top comment on the post, with at least 247 likes, reads: “You guys are a couple [texts] If they don’t get promoted, some people will swap to become co-CEOs. “

@fayymarie11 didn’t post a follow-up video or respond to many of her TikTok comments, so it’s unclear if she ever responded or the owner got into trouble.

That in turn prompted commenters to come up with their own ideas for what @fayymarie11 should do next.

“That’s when you text back and say, ‘Nothing much just tells you I’m not taking the job,'” one viewer suggested.

“Talk to a lawyer,” another suggested. “You can have a great lawsuit.”

“Looks like you can set your own hours and pay for me,” said the third TikToker.

The Daily Dot has reached out to @fayymarie11 through comment on TikTok.
