TikToker says black Republicans are ‘agents of white supremacy’

A white woman on TikTok posted a video claiming that not all Republicans can be white supremacists — because there are minority Republicans. The TikToker (@doadollap) featured a black friend of hers laughing at the idea that she might be a white supremacist.

“Are the minorities also white supremacists?” asked the TikToker.

Another TikToker known as Kiki Rae Real (@kikiraereal) stitched the video together to clock her with the facts.

“To me, that’s how you symbolize your black Republican friend,” Kiki said in her video. “No, definitely not racist behavior.”

Even before the slave trade began, there were always people from minority communities who were “duped, tricked and misled” into holding onto white supremacist beliefs, Kiki said. They were led to believe that they would benefit from privilege and power by working with white people.

Then maybe someday they could “equalize” white people, Kiki said. But that was a lie, she added, because whites still held power.

“Her friend and other black people like her are agents of white supremacy because of internalized racism,” Kiki said in the video.

Kiki’s video went semi-viral on Tuesday, with around 200,000 views and more than 1,500 comments on the platform. User @doadollap had disabled comments on her video.

Viewers applauded Kiki for sharing the “facts.”

“Facts Facts Facts LIKE GIRLS LIKE IM TOKEN?! THIS BLACK FRIEND most likely doesn’t like pigtails and says ‘don’t talk ghetto,'” one viewer commented on the video.

“……. She’s not ready to hear facts,” another viewer said of the white TikToker.

“Say it again for the slow folks in the back of the room…you know they don’t get it (too) quickly,” commented another viewer.

Some viewers said the white TikToker exposed herself as a racist by symbolizing her black friend.

“She genuinely thought she had checkedmate and all she did was expose herself even more,” wrote one TikToker.

Another TikToker said, “Yes, she tokenized them!”

“It gave me chills when she did that. How did she influence her friend just to use her as a sign?!” one user commented.

“You don’t get the tokenized aspect. We have sellouts that they’re trying to legitimize because they hear them say what they think,” said another.

The Daily Dot contacted Kiki via TikTok comment.
