TikToker lines the courtyard with Pride flags after a single flag was destroyed

After someone destroyed a TikToker’s human rights shield and pride flag, they found an interesting solution. Instead of just an LGBTQ pride flag, user Addison (@addison.foskey) covered his entire lawn in flags, earning support and applause from users on the platform.

His first video on the subject has over 2.5 million views and inspired several subsequent updates.

@addison.foskey We will be able to see our house from SPACE!!! 🌈 #pride #lgbtq #lgbtqplus #rainbows #humanrights #pridefflag #AmazonVirtualTryOn #CatchChobaniOatmilk #sweetrevenge #clonedsim #addisonfoskey #getready ♬ Original sound – ClonedSIM

In the first video, Addison shows the damage.

“To the person who stole our human rights shield and tore up our pride flag, I have two words for you: wait and watch,” his video begins. “If a flag bothered you that much, you’ll hate me afterwards.”

In a follow-up video, Addison revealed the collection of flags for his planned revenge.

@addison.foskey Yup…. #pride #pride2022

Some users have even asked to send Addison Pride flags.

In another video, Addison offered instructions on how to do this, and many accepted the offer. Some users asked for names to be added to certain flags, which Addison was obliged to do.

Finally, Addison posted an update on his new garden, which is now covered with a Pride banner and lots of little Pride flags. The TikToker claims in comments that its yard now contains over 100 flags.

@addison.foskey Thank you to everyone who contributed to Live!! It went WONDERFULLY well!!! Maybe tomorrow again, weather permitting! #live #love #lgbtq #rain #rainbow #clonedsim ♬ Original sound – ClonedSIM

Users on TikTok supported Addison in his search.

“Prayers no one will mess with this,” added a second. “Love it.”

Others mocked the original vandal.

“These kind of people will never know what peace and love is,” shared one viewer. “But you’re going to show them anyway.”

In comments, Addison clarified that although he disagrees with the vandal, people have a right to protest. However, you still have to obey the law.

“Shit, you want to protest on the sidewalk, you are[r] right,” he wrote. “But theft and trespassing is a different ballgame.”

The Daily Dot contacted Addison via email.
