A TikToker has gone viral after sharing a video of him defending his co-worker against a client who harassed her.
In a video posted by user Whitney (@sadgirlyhouroffical), she can be seen yelling at the customer and telling him to leave.
“You’re making her damn uncomfortable! Leave!” she yells at the beginning of the video.
“No, you are, you stupid bitch!” he replies.
“Fuck off!” She screams. The man then leaves.
The original video has over 1.7 million views and has garnered multiple follow-ups. “Human wouldn’t take no for an answer,” Whitney captioned the clip.

In a follow-up, Whitney explains what happened from her perspective.
In summary, Whitney was working when she observed a man outside staring at her colleague, which she says lasted about five minutes.
When he finally walked in, he approached the colleague and said she was “the prettiest [he’s] ever seen.”

While the colleague politely accepted the initial compliment, the customer went further and asked her questions about her name, age and personal life. From that point on, Whitney notes that the co-worker pretended to be “the biggest slut so he could fuck off” in hopes of preventing further confrontations.
After the man asked if Whitney’s colleague was single, Whitney stepped in and claimed they were dating to keep the man from asking further questions. That didn’t work as the man then asked her if she “shares[d]’ – apparently asking if the relationship was open.
At one point, Whitney said they didn’t, “he just looks at her dead in her damn soul and the damn leans in closer and says he’s going to damn desecrate her,” she claims.
This excited Whitney, which led to the events seen in the first video.
“Guys in this damn North Carolina town need to fucking do better because I’m so damn sick of it,” she concludes. “Men in general, in any damn condition, just have to do better damn it.”
In another follow-up on TikTok, Whitney says she moved stores and didn’t report the initial incident to the police because “the cops aren’t doing anything down there.”

“The last time I called them, they acted like it was so awkward for them to come to my safe place,” she recalls.
Luckily, she says she enjoys working in her new location and makes her new colleagues, her customers and the police officers who oversee the new location commendable.
Commenters below the original video were grateful for Whitney’s actions.
“Normalize yelling at guys who step out of line,” one user wrote.
“Thanks for standing up to this guy instead of just filming him,” added another.
“HELL YEAH BABE IM PROUD OF YOU,” said another user.
