TikToker claims he’s on Depp v. Heard Jury, Calls Heard “crazy”

A man has gone viral on TikTok after posting a video claiming to be a juror in the Depp v. Heard trial.

In a clip posted on June 2, @seekinginfinite said: “This was my last day as a juror in the Amber Heard Johnny Depp trial and I want to remain anonymous but I thought I’d share some insight give my thoughts on this study.”

@seekinginfinite My thoughts on the process. Leave comments if you have any questions about this! #johnnydepp #amberheard #johnnydepptrial #amberheardtrial #johnnydeppamberheardtrial #court #juror #justiceforjohnnydepp ♬ Original sound – user5966617263575

He continues, saying, “I don’t follow pop culture too much, so I wasn’t really a fan of Johnny Depp or Amber Heard, so I feel like I was able to be pretty open-minded about the whole thing.”

He then elaborates on his recounted experiences during the trial: “From the beginning when Amber Heard was testifying everything seemed so off the mark the way she kept making eye contact with me and I was extremely uncomfortable looking where I no longer wanted to look When she gave her answers, I just listened to her carefully.”

He continued, “Everything she said came across as bullshit and I didn’t follow anything on TikTok the entire process and I scrolled through after the process and it blows my mind how every single person seemed to comment, like strange it was.”

The TikToker ends the video. “Good news for Johnny Depp. That was my gut after all the information and the court cases, but Amber Heard, what a crazy woman.”

While the video-sharing platform’s users gobble it up, there are others who are a bit more skeptical, thinking that maybe @seekinginfinite was never in the courtroom at all.

TikToker Riley Lively called @seekinginfinite as she was suspicious that he isn’t who he says he is. Taking to TikTok to share those concerns, she said, “As soon as I saw this video I said BS … So I did what I do best and found out who is behind the account.”

Though she doesn’t name the creator by name, she does mention that his first initial is a B. She continues, noting that she reached out to a friend, @popcornplanet, a famous YouTuber who reportedly had the connections to confirm that the person behind the account was in fact not a juror.

While that may just be hearsay, there’s more damning evidence Lively found on the @seekinginfinite account that suggests he’s a scammer.

In her video, she shares a screenshot of @seekinginfinite responding to a comment asking for his thoughts on “edited photos,” saying, “I noticed right away that it’s the same photo, I have it presented to the jury during a break.” Another commentator then stopped him and noted that the jury was not allowed to discuss the case during breaks.

Another TikToker, @realjamesfromcourt, reiterated that @seekinginfinite was a scam after coming forward. In a video posted to the platform, James says: “I’m sorry to have to break the bubble, but this person on TikTok is absolutely not the judge. I’ve been in court every day watching these people and he can’t confirm anything that a jury might know in this case.”

The Daily Dot has reached out to both @seekinginfinite and via TikTok comment to comment on this story.
