TikTok shows Chipotle workers eating beef steak when asked for more

Chipotle has become a part notorious for their portion sizesand a viral TikTok showing a Chipotle employee raising that reputation.

TikTok user Damir Kasupovic (@misterdado) uploaded footage of his experience asking for more steak at a Chipotle restaurant. Technically, he received the “extra” steak, but he was not satisfied.

“Why are Chipotle employees acting like they’re all out of pay making these bowls and burritos,” Kasupovic writes in the video’s text overlay.

His video has received 2.6 million views on TikTok as of Wednesday.

In the video, Kasupovic can be heard asking “can you give me more steak” as a Chipotle employee makes his dish. The employee stopped and added a steak to the bowl — one piece to be exact. Kasupovic does not.

“No man, can you give me more money,” he asked.

This time, the waitress added two more steaks to the bowl.

“Thank you, man,” Kasupovic said.

While TikToker is clearly unhappy, his viewers argue that this is just what one should expect from Chipotle. Several onlookers, who appeared to be current or former Chipotle workers, said the restaurant’s employees were forced to be stingy with their rations.

“I used to work there and they almost shot you for feeding people too much meat,” commented user @daddyxanax_.

User @colby01876 wrote, “Chipotle has suffered the most miserable workplace ever.”

“I used to work there, they posted an article a week about used parts and expected returns, you get disciplined for poor percentages,” said user @rigadoons.

Another viewer, user @requis_, said, “We got yelled at for parts…”

Other viewers said Chipotle had and shared their own experience at the restaurant chain not having a good reputation.

“Imagine being known as a restaurant for cheap meat,” commented user @dooshbrah.

“I go out halfway across the burrito if it’s not pretty. Just straight up the rotating robot and step outside. don’t talk”, user @beeegyoshiii wrote.
