Ziggy has a duck and we have an author, co-host the Hollywood crime scene podcast and current The cable Binger Rachel Fisher returns to Pod Yourself The Wire to chat with Matt and Vince about Season 2 Episode 8 The cable“Duck and Cover”.

The episode opens with an extended McNulty Rock bottom hit scene. Dominic West proves he’s the best drunk actor of our generation. He’s bloated, red, sweaty and ready for the bone. Then the show gets as lolrandom as David Simon can get. Ziggy takes the eponymous duck to Poland’s Dudes Rock Bar so he can get her to drink booze and finally get some of the respect he so desperately desires. And it works! Acting like a dumb goose is what these people want him to do. If Ziggy had taken some improv classes instead of committing crimes, he would be alive today (but think about how he would have sexually harassed female improvisers—perhaps for the best).

Rachel started watching The cable When she heard we were doing the pod it was further proof that we are industry taste makers and she and Matt both agree that the AA meetings are happening The cable are the only realistic depictions of AA meetings on television. According to these two, there is no crosstalk in AA meetings. You’re telling me they’re more organized and respectful than this podcast? Seems unlikely.
