According to the Uniform Police, the skier was supposed to be back by 2pm, but his vehicle was still in the parking lot late Monday night.

The search and rescue mission is headquartered at Solitudes Lodge – but they are searching both in and near the resort as officials say they have no specific place he may be.

Search operations were suspended around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday and resumed around 7:15 a.m. with no update on the skier, UPD reported.

The skier’s name was not released, but authorities said he was male.
