previously on The Resident season 6 episode 2, the high-stakes gubernatorial election leads to electoral violence, resulting in multiple casualties arriving in Chastain. Conrad finds common ground with an aggressive patient, leading to a diagnosis for his outbursts. When another patient’s lungs collapse, doctors find a serious cause of the problem.

On The Resident season 6 episode 3Suspicion arises around Cade’s father, and Ian is drug tested to see if he’s still addicted to prescription pills.

On an escape, Cade finds a gunshot victim, and although he was only hit with one bullet, the man is badly injured. The whole team is working on it. The man with the gunshot wound bleeds out and Conrad demands more blood for him. Conrad is told that You only have two units of blood throughout the hospital.

Padma goes into shock and is put into an emergency C-section. Devon and Leela are working on her when Padma starts bleeding. Devon frantically runs around the hospital looking for blood for Padma, only to find that it has been used up on the gunshot victim. There is no blood for Padma!

Will Padma and her twins survive this emergency C-section without blood in the hospital? Will Ian’s Prescription Pill Addiction Be Discovered? When will Randolph return from his MS treatment? When will we see Randolph and Kit’s wedding?
