previously on The Resident Season 6 Episode 9, Devon is approached by a documentary producer as he prepares to perform the first titanium rib cage implant surgery in the country with Raptor, who has to find a babysitter before the procedure. Meanwhile, Conrad tends to an unhelpful patient who claims to have been abused by a big cat, and Dr. Bell faces negative press.

On the Midseason finale of the inhabitant Season 6 Episode 10 “Family Day”Billie tells one of her patients that the upcoming surgery is too risky and dangerous. She warns her patient that she could die on the operating table.

The patient and her sons ignore Billie and all very loudly demand that the surgery continue. Billie performs the surgery requested by the patient, but the woman dies on the operating table. When her two sons discover their mother died during surgery, they decide to take it out on Billie.

The two brothers are determined to make Billie pay for her mother’s death. They chase Billie until they find her performing surgery and burst through the door yelling at Billie, who is defenseless in her operating room. As the two brothers start ripping the OR apart, a nurse tries to call for help. One of the brothers grabs the phone from her hand.

Cade reaches out to her father, Ian, while he’s in rehab to review his progress and see if he finally decides to sober. She’s still holdingher father’s secret about his addiction and his decision to check into rehab. Cade lies to Conrad when she visits Ian and claims she’s taking a girls’ weekend trip to the vineyard and spa. Instead, Cade visits her father Family day at his rehabilitation facility.

Conrad experiences a blast from the past when Nic’s father, Kevin, is admitted to Chastain with heart problems. Chastain’s new cardiologist, Dr. James Yamada will examine Kevin’s heart and Conrad arranges for Gigi to visit her grandpa. It’s been 5 years since Conrad and Kevin saw each other.

Why is Cade lying to Conrad and still keeping her father’s addiction and rehab stint a secret? Will Conrad find out that Cade lied to him and kept secrets from him? How is Billie’s relationship with Dr. James Yamada Development? Is Padma okay?Where was Padma when AJ tried to put the babies down after taking them for the day so she could have some time to herself? Knowing how precious life is, how will Conrad feel for Billie after watching the two brothers chase her with intent to hurt her?
