THE Queen has opened up her private archives, revealing never-before-seen footage and newsreels celebrating her Platinum Anniversary.
More than 400 hours of clips from her childhood, the days before the coronation and family life were searched for a BBC documentary.
Her Majesty will narrate Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen, thanks to the producers cleverly using excerpts from 60 speeches she gave.
The footage will show the monarch on her first trip abroad to South Africa aged 20, having fun with her sister Princess Margaret and being with her grandmother Queen Mary.

A PORTRAIT of the Queen painted by a humanoid robot artist was unveiled to mark the anniversary.
It was created by Ai-Da Robot, an artificial intelligence machine that also draws and shapes.
The talking machine said, “I would like to thank Her Majesty the Queen for her service.”

A CROWN-wearing corgi named PJ has been unveiled as the official Platinum Jubilee emoji.
The cartoon image of the happy dog appeared on the royal family’s official Twitter account yesterday.
PJ tongue out automatically appears on Twitter when he uses Jubilee hashtags.
