The new Magic House exhibition lets kids train and play like CITY SC

KIRKWOOD, Mo. — A new St. Louis City SC themed exhibit will open at the Magic House for all the kids who want to have fun and train like an athlete.
When you enter the new St. Louis City SC themed exhibit, you might think you’re in the team’s locker room.
“This place had everything. It was nice to see the kids having fun,” said City SC player Joshua Yaro. “And I think an exhibition like this will help them develop a passion and love for the game.”
Kids can gear up while admiring the replica. In the same room, a training center equipped with a rowing machine, pull-up bar and ergometer will test your strength and endurance.
The simulator around the corner on the pitch is a big hit and gives the kids a taste of what it’s like to be a team.
“Our goal, of course, is hands-on learning to be a champion of play, and this exhibit exemplifies that because we get kids active,” said Beth Fitzgerald, President of Magic House.
It was important to the team to create an interactive installation that gives something back to the fans.
“We’ve always said it’s more than a sport, it’s about a community. To truly deliver on that promise and to have something as beautiful as this exhibit at the Magic House, I hope it just reinforces what we’re determined to do,” said Carolyn Kindle, President and CEO of St. Louis City SC teams.
Players and the head coach observed the development of future athletes.
“Children aspire to be something, aspire to look at their role models and see how real they are in relation to the world of work. I think this is a great platform for the kids to exercise, have fun and play football,” said St. Louis City SC head coach Bradley Carnell.
The exhibition opens to the public on Thursday, April 16.
